Hey!

I have dyed my hair a light golden brown, and my roots are a lot lighter than my ends that are close to a medium brown.

Help me even this color mishap. I just want a nice brown natural color.

It depends on your previous color, but may happen because roots get coloured faster cause the heat of scalp -> so they need less time or maybe your ends are very dry and have a higher absorption. I think you put the dye on all the hair same tine. Anyway I would wait about a week to see how the color fades. And next time apply dye only on roots, on the length only about 5 minutes:-)

Roots almost always go lighter, it's virgin hair (usually) and is less damage so they dye brighter and have nothing else to dye over except natural hair. Shampoo a few times to see if you can get your length to even out, and if not dye just your roots to match. Or leave it as is and pretend it was intentional lol.
