Hey guys, I'm going to a concert (so we're talking nighttime here and not OVERLY formal, more just dressing up for fun.) I'm planning on wearing a medium-red velvet dress and I want to coordinate my makeup with that... I have green eyes so black eye makeup is too harsh for me. I have darkish blonde hair and a light-medium complexion. I'll tell you what I was thinking, and please could you give me some suggestions?
Eyes:
(Dark) brown liner & gold towards the outer of my eyes & falsies (not too extreme)
OR
Dark purple eyeliner & falsies (I use a browny black mascara and falsies are normally black, will that matter?)
Or any combination of the above..
Lips:
I'm a big fan of purple lips right now! Will a deep purple colour (without too much of a blue undertone) clash with my red dress?
Or should I go for a more classic red (I'm a bit scared of this cause I haven't worn red before.) should I match the red with my dress or will it be okay if I go a bit darker?
Or just a plain gloss? I don't want my face to look too top heavy if I wear false eyelashes, though.
If you've read all of this, thank you so much, I really appreciate your advice & guidance 😘

The brown and gold makeup and plain gloss sounds great
