I wish I could help , it'll take some time for you to get back to where you were before you had your child. I'm no expert! But I was extremely athletic & I let myself go when I quit wrestling because I had back problems. It's hard getting used to my new non athletic body. So I understand you. You'll need to work hard in order to achieve what you want. You can still rock great cloths! Because you do have curves! Which is amazing! Cause I don't , I had curves when I was athletic lol. But don't be upset! Besides the diet I would recommend you try to jog a little too. Cause the diet itself won't help as fast as if you were working out too.

I'm with ya, I would like to/am currently trying do the same for myself. A motto I truly believe in is "fake it 'til you make it!" I may feel terrible about myself, but I don't want strangers on the street knowing that about me! I don't have much self confidence, but I sure pretend I do!...I wear whatever the heck I want! I LOVE clothes and fashion and expressing myself through my appearance, so I don't let my weight hold me back. This is how I see it... what is worse: maybe not looking perfect in clothes, but still making an effort and wearing what you think is cool OR trying to hide your body in baggy clothes or frumpy outfits because you think you're hiding? I say the first option! The clothes often look a lot better than we see ourselves in it! You look like you take care of yourself and care about your appearance. You draw attention to yourself in a *positive way* because you look like you take pride in yourself. When you go with the other option, I find it actually draws attention in a *negative* way. Its the exact opposite: I feel as though people think "oh that girl doesn't care about herself, she doesn't look like she takes care of herself, she looks unhappy." I always leave the house with a smile and at least one piece of clothing or accessory that excites me-it really makes a difference! Fake it if you have to, but eventually you will start to feel better I promise.
You look smaller than me, but it looks like we may have a similar body shape. Some silhouettes I love are peplums and skater/fit &flare skirts/dresses. The are nice and fitted to show off the boobs and create a waist line-which I definitely do not have much of one! Those blazers you posted pictures of are PERFECT too... a single button that hits your waistline will also create the illusion of a smaller waist like the peplums and skater style skirts. I must admit, I do wear stuff that may be unflattering sometimes (but they fit properly which is important), but its just because the clothes are so cool and they make me happy and it totally makes up for it. Rock whatever clothes you want, that make you feel special-do it for you and don't think about what others think, just own it!
Some of my favorite places to shop are ASOS and Forever21, they have lots of cool and trendy clothes that actually fit me, are affordable, and look amazing! Good luck dear, you're gorgeous and you deserve to feel awesome about yourself &the way you dress =)

Look on Torrid.com girl! Just because you're not a size 2 doesn't mean you're not beautiful. You can totally rock your new mommy body :)

I am bigger than you and this is what I wore today. I normally don't take full body pictures of myself because I'm mortified most of the time, but I want to show you an example of "rockin' it." It may not be the most flattering, but it makes me look a lot smaller than when I wear my frumpy outfits and I love this skirt so I felt awesome wearing it! I got lots of compliments today and people treated me a lot nicer than when I just wear leggings and a sweater or big tshirt out to the store.
