How to use a highliter?

Placed highlight in the light areas. If it's a matte or a cream(lighter foundation/ concealer then set with powder) then apply it in those places. But if it contains shimmer, I would only apply it to the top of the cheek bones.

Highlighter sits at the tops of your cheekbones and brow bone down the rim of your nose and the Cupid bow on the top of your lips- like symone said if it's shimmery stick to the tops of cheekbones and also brow bone and Cupid's bow X.

I use my fingers to apply my highlighter so I don't over apply. I'll use my index finger to tap it onto the tops of my cheekbones. Then I will blend it with my ring finger and use the excess on my ring finger for my Cupid bow and the center of my chin. I also do the inner corners of my eyes with a small pointed brush. Happy highlighting! I love Albatross from Nars.
