Ashleigh I.
I think I need a change. I'm moving back to where I grew up and all my friends are there. I don't want to be the same lame old Ashleigh. Not only do I want a physical change, I want a boost of confidence. I don't want to be shy anymore. So here are my questions
-how can I work on myself to not be as shy
-how can I work on myself to be more confident in myself and in general
-how can I change my makeup look?
-how can I change my hair? (Color and style)
-how can I change my clothes?
-anything else to just stand out?
It sounds stupid I know! But I want people to be surprised when they see me. (This April I'm moving!!)
I will add a picture so you can kind of see my every day look

For a start, you already look confident and your beautiful! I'm exactly like you, shy quiet and always worried about what others might think... So here's my take on your questions :)
- always SMILE, smiling makes you look approachable and makes you feel good in your own skin... Don't do a fake lip smile, do a nice smile with your teeth showing... Who cares if they're not perfect? Your imperfections are what make you a perfectionist! Your eyes really showing the smile. Your eyes speak a lot... Shoulders back and head tall lol ik this sounds abit weird but keep your posture good because if your slouched then you won't look welcoming or approachable. Compliment other people in the neighbourhood and just be friendly, others will do the same and it makes you feel good about yourself. I think they all want the same Ashleigh as before have to go to school now so good luck xx sorry this was short :)

Thank you so much, I've been trying something like that but obviously it's not easy since I have bad anxiety, but I'm getting more serious about trying!!

As someone with extremely low self esteem and social anxiety (I can't even ask my teachers to go to the washroom) I can't help you in that aspect, though I wish I could :(
As for a physical change, I don't think you need one but if you really want one you can try a darker colour for the winter months! a dark cherry brown would look amazing. As for makeup play around with it, try different lip colours and eye shadow colours but make sure you don't over do it! If you do dye your hair darker maybe try filling in your eye brows aswell! For your hair you can also try curling it more since you're not used to it, and I think you'd look wonderful with extensions :)
As for clothes I wouldn't change them too much, you don't wanna lose your own style just because you want a change. But evaluate your style now and think about clothes you've wanted to try in the past but couldn't because it wasn't 'your style' and then yolo it and wear them anyways. It's actually surprising what you may like when you let go of stereotypes :)

Thank you so much ^ and yeah I mean I have a specific style it's just all my life I never really embraced it you know? Like I always focused on everyone else. What I wear now is not my style.

Make an entrance with big hair and lots of makeup you don't have to stay that way but then they won't judge you when you are very confident..SHOW THEM WHO's BOSS! Have a nice time!!
