Don't curl near your roots; focus more on mid length to ends. Finish off with an anti-frizz serum and hairspray.

Plait it loosley whilst still wet leave over night if not dryed in morning keave it in the plaits and dry it with them in the use your curling wand to enhance them you may wanna try hairspray afterwards and use a heat protectant as it can damage your hair if it is too hot.
