So I have acne probe skin. Even if I don't have any major pimples, my cheeks always have tiny bumps. I would like a smooth skin but the little bumps never go away. What could they be?

Blemishes or maybe Skin rash or your skin is irritated from a product I had the same problem my doctor reccomended SPECTRO GEL and honestly it really works!

Possibly still acne. There are all different types of acne. Cystic being deep/painful pimples, blackheads, whiteheads, and tiny bumps. You can check out this webpage from Mario Badescu that describes the different types of acne. http://www.mariobadescu.com/Types-Of-Acne Your skin could just still be congested, even if you're not showing any signs of actual eruptions. Look for clarifying/purifying washes or anything made for congested skin. Mario Badescu is a good skincare line that's affordable and professional quality. For more bang for your buck, Dermalogica also has a good acne line: Medibac. I myself use both Mario Badescu and Dermalogica products. I don't acne prone skin, but really oily skin that only breaks out when it gets overly congested or the occasional hormonal breakouts. However, I have used the acne products for my breakouts from both brands and it has done wonders to clear it up.

You should definitely look into something for congested skin though. That sounds like your problem to me.

Hope this helps sweetie. :) Good luck and best wishes!

Oh wow. Did you get rid of them after all?

Leslie, I perfectly understand what you mean, this 'relief' made me very angry. I'm still treating them, because in my case they appeared because of stomach ulcer, so it's a long treatment with antibiotics and anti acne cream, but I almost finished treatment. Also demodex makes skin more oily and causes blackheads. But anyway you could have smth else, maybe it's because of your blush, maybe an allergy?

It could be keratosis Pilaris. I have it on most of my body, including my cheeks and forehead. But some people have it on just certain areas. It's genetic and my dad only has it on the back of his hands. But I'd go to a dermatologist. If it is KP, they give you special creams.

I agree with Alyx. I thought that initially as well, but didn't want you to get frightened by me saying that and you googling the pictures and seeing the redish mass of skin and think that your skin would end up looking like that. I suffered from KP on my shoulders and back for awhile. Mine was more whitish/light pink. Is that what you're having issues with? If so you can do a search for products for KP. It's more common for it to be on the back and outer arms/shoulders but can be on any part of the skin.

Also, you could try sulfur based products for the bumps/congestion. If you're not allergic to the sulfur that is. If you're afraid to try things I'd always recommend seeing a dermatologist or esthetician who could give you a skin analysis that would be best suited for you. Ulta's salons usually have an esthetician who performs facials. You could go into your local Ulta for a free consultation or if you really want to get to the root of the problem, they have targeted treatments starting at $20 and usually have discounts/coupons for first time salon goers. They mostly use Dermalogica products though so that could slightly be a deterrent if you're not looking to spend the money or don't like the brand. I still say look into it however if you're really having issues.

I've had these before on my forehead, they're clogged pores, make sure you take your makeup off properly & exfoliate twice a week, I went to the doctors and they prescribed me a cream called Epiduo which contains 2.5% benzyol peroxide, after using this for a week all the tiny bumps across my forehead had disappeared! Hope this helps. :)
