Normally I would go to the salon to fix this issue, but with it being so close to Christmas that's not something I can afford right now, so please don't suggest it. The top half of my hair is blonde with yellowy tones that I want to fix. The bottom half of my hair is burgundy gone wrong, it's turned purple on me. So my questions are: 1) Could I let a purple shampoo sit in my hair for a few hours to get rid of the yellow tones? Or is there a hair color I can use to counteract the yellow? And 2) Is there anyway I can get this burgundy purple back to blonde? Without too much damage. 3) Considering I will probably have damage what's the best deep conditioner or treatment I can use to fix that? Any help would be appreciated. I'm doing some of my own research online but I thought you ladies would be able to advise me better! 😘

Don't use purple shampoo as it will turn your hair a light purple , when this happened to me I put bleach on the ends of my hair first to take away the colour and then put it on the top so that the colours are the same at the top and the botton. the hardest part is the timing, the best shampoo and conditioner you can get for damaged hair is Aussie , but it's about 5 pound a bottle but the dove shampoo is good too :)

For top -> you could use a beige blonde tonner/ burgundy -> if it's freshly dyed wait a lil because it will mostly fade and then bleach it. Don't have another ideas:-)

Thanks Diana :) I think I'm going to try Loreal's new Platinum Blonde, it has good reviews and is said to be less damaging than bleach :)

Platinum on yellow could turn green, but it depends on luck sometimes:-)
