What color was your hair before? if your going from light to dark then you need a filler. one level lighter then the color your dying it. you can probablly just throw another brown over it...just make sure its a neutral or cool tone.

Protein fillers help. But it can be a neutral protein filler. I've used a neutral protein filler on my step sister when her hair was platinum blonde and she wanted to go back to her natural dark brown. The first time we did it, it hardly did anything. Second time we used the protein filler and it still hasn't washed out or needed redone. I did it in like April or May.
