So everyone at school makes fun of me because I wear to much makeup :/ but I don't even wear that much! I just wear foundation, powder, and mascara. How do I make my face look less cakey? Please help.

Try using less. Sometimes I like to use a cosmetic sponge and use powder I know it sounds weird to but on me it looks a little more natural.

Very lightly set your foundation with powder. Or toss that out the window and use bb cream!

Maybe you use a powder that is supposed to be a foundation. Try to use a transluscent powder maybe? Just to fix the whole thing.

Don't wear foundation, wear bb cream!! It'll look perfect at least for school!! If not, then try to use a light - medium coverage foundation! And set with a translucent powder!! And I think you don't wear much, but those ppl are gettin jealous, coz you look gorgeous lol :D.

Use a light hand when putting it on and invest in blotting papers so reduce the cakey-ness or if it's really that bad then change your foundation and powder to something with less coverage and not a matte consistency because that's what gives you the more "cakey" look.

Skip the foundation and powder and use BB cream! Try to make your mascara look like a really natural look (if it isn't already). Or if you still want to use foundation and powder, use a BeautyBlender and lightly set everything.

Do the girls in your school wear makeup? Because if not they might be saying that because they don't wear it... does that make sense? lol you might not be wearing a lot at all but compared to them and in their perspective you are.. but your really not lol.

You should try to moisturize before applying foundation if you don't already :)

I always used to wear foundation that was too tan for my skintone when I embraced my natural fair and wore foundation that matched it helped. I also used to wear too much mascara and it looked like I had spider legs for eyelashes (yuck) now I wear covergirl clump crusher with some natural eyeshadows and it looks much better. maybe you could try that:)
