Concealer is a great way to cover up dark spots. I use Collection 2000. Make sure it is one that matches your skin tone :)

@Traci...since you work in this field wanted to ask you a question. After exfoliating and getting the cell turnover going is a serum the most effective in getting rid of dark spots because it's mote concentrated? Also, if a dermatologist gives hydroqinone sp? and retinol A to someone for this if an over the counter product with these ingredients could do the job just slower?

Lemon juice + aloe vera
Vitamin e oil
Bio oil or Mederma $10-$15

Dab instead of smear. Dabbing will keep the coverage concentrated. Use a powder in your skin tone to set the area.

Yes a serum is more effective because it's a smaller molecular size,it can go down deeper into the skin where as a creams molecules are to large to penetrate the skins surface and can only moisturize an hydrate serums also have alot more beneficial ingredients and I never use hydroqinone it has to many bad things attached to using it ,retinol is over the counter the derm prescribes retin A its much stronger and it one quick hit of it thats why so many people have issues using it like peeling dry patches and raw skin retinol is a derivative of retin A and it's time released so your skin gets it slowly not one quick blast it works slower but less side effects.
