I would like to try a BB cream and thought I would start with a drug store brand but all the commercials that I see and the BB creams in the stores are for light and medium complexions. Does any one have any suggestions?

Sleek Makeup has nice bb creams for African skin. The only draw back is having to order it.

@Illy and @Michelle, do you find the Maybelline one is very oily? I want to buy it seeing its one of the few BB creams for WOC, but I've read so many reviews saying people turn into grease pots after a couple hours.

It depends on your skin. I have very oily skin, so no matter what foundation or tinted moisturizer I use, if I don't use the right primer, I get a little oily. But I will say when I use this, I tend not to get "greasy" quite as fast as I would normally.

My skin is more normal to dry so I rarely get oily but you can always set with a little powder to be safe!

Omg the maybelline bb cream makes me look like an oil slick! No need to fight over oil America, the bb cream has enough to stop the bickering lol! Maybe im applying to much but I gave me a bump right above my lip too! Ummm thanks maybelline for making me look like I have a herpes outbreak lol!

@Nica N. i just recently started using Maybelline Dream Fresh BB cream, i have comb. skin and i dont see any problems w/ excess oil as long as u use a good mattifying powder after application u should be fine !
