At what age did you start wearing makeup?

I was 12 when I started my makeup collection, but I rarely wore it outside of the house, only on special occasions. I started actually wearing it daily in high school, but even then I never did anything too dramatic.

I was 12 when I started doing eyeliner and my eyebrows :3 Then the summer between 6th and 7th grade I went full makeup. And I've learned since then that makeup is a true passion of mine (: Its my creative outlet :D

wore shimmery lipsmackers balms (and occassionally some of their glosses) when i was 11 and 12 but i never really considered that makeup. then got an arsenal of clinique eye products (cream eyeshadow base, some shadows, a liner - all purple! and mascara) when i was 13 but never wore any of it. at 14/beginning of high school i discovered black khol liner (avril lavigne was all the rage) and was wearing that everyday along with a brown eyeshadow, mascara, and foundation (i was developing acne and was super embarrassed)

it wasn't until i was 18 that i discovered the art of makeup and began applying it properly and with a purpose!

Wow, this one isn't good for me. I started experimenting with it at 9, wearing it to school at 12, and began doing legitimate drag makeup and makeup for others television appearances by 13.

7th/8th grade light eye shadow & wet n wild mascara& cover girl pressed powder. 9th grade added eyeliner. Only pinks and browns for eye shadow no blues or wild colors. Lipgloss and jr high and lipstick around 9th grade

My mother only allowed me to wear very light make up at 14 (brown eyeshadow, brown eyeliner, and pink lipgloss). Once I turned 16, she let me wear whatever and I've never gone a day without it since :)

I started when I was 12 with the traditional blush, gloss, and a sweep of mascara. In all honesty I never needed any makeup at all. It was just because all of my friends were doing it and we wanted boys to like us. Obviously, we learned our lesson with that and now wear it as a necessity. Its definitely fun though. I just dont think girls should wear it until they actually need to.
