So I've been using E.L.F. brushes for quite some time now, and I can't say I LOVE all of them. Some are better than others, but majority of them could be upgraded.
I saw that a lot of people are using Sigma brushes. I went on their website, and they appear to have several different lines of the full brush collections. If you use Sigma brushes, can you let me know which line you are using and if you like it?

Which line of e.l.f. brushes? (Just wondering.)
I don't own any sets of Sigma brushes, just individual ones -- F05, F40, F80, P82, E25, E30, E45, E55. The only one I can say I really love these days, and the one I would recommend, is the F80.

I have several sigma kits and I really like them. I would recommend the essential kit to start off because the brushes are amazing and they are pretty much the only you will need, hope this helps

I bought two Sigma brushes, one was the flat top kabuki and the other was similar. I liked the flat top but it didn't last long. i suggest buying a good brush from Mac. It will last longer.

As far as ELF brushes go, I have the Professional Complete Set of 12 Brushes. And then I've also purchased some of their Studio Brushes, but not the whole set. Some of the eyeshadow brushes are pretty good, but the other brushes I think I need to upgrade. They don't seem to hold the product very well, like there are not tightly packed enough. Hope that makes sense :)
Also, I've had to reglue some of the handles back on cause they came to me loose. And I notice that when I use them and wash them, they tend to shed pretty easily.
I will definitely take a look at the F80 Sigma brush. Wish there was a place to buy them in stores, rather than buying online.
