Castor Oil really strengthens your lashes. You can make your own little lash serum using castor oil. You can add other things like avocado, almond, or coconut. Make sure to only put on a little or it will drip into your eye.
I recommend you DON't use VASELINE. It clogs glands responsible for fighting off bacteria and protecting your eyes and can lead to an eye infection.

Put Talc powder on your eyelashes before you apply mascara it makes them more thicker and longer.

@ kitty... I heard castor oil smells really bad, could olive oil or coconut oil work to strengthen eyelashes?

@Sam The reason I like to add other oils ( Castor Oil is the carrier oil so it needs to be there ) is because it cancels out the scent.
If you use coconut oil with castor oil it will smell like coconut!
I don't recommend buying castor oil that has added fragrances because they can irritate your eyes. I use Castor Oil & Coconut Oil all the time ( Every 3-4 days ) as a hair strengthening treatment. ( Available pictures on my profile tracking hair growth if you'd like to see an example of the difference it's made in my hair. ) And my hair will smell like coconut! The castor oil I have has no scent in it, so for me using it alone is not an issue.
