Have you ever tried shaving with oil? I know some people use coconut or baby oil. It leaves your skin super soft. I also noticed any razor with 4+ blades causes irritation. My cousin has super sensitive skin, and she uses a single blade razor to shave.

I suffer from sensitive skin. Vaseline could be the problem because it acts as a barrier - your skin needs a little time to breath. I find that an after shave balm works best. My favorite is Gillette's after shave lotion (for men) they have similair products for women but the men after shave stuff don't irritate my skin at all. good luck!
