I have one as well. And I love it!! I usually use it more to curl my hair but it works to straighten hair as well.

I used to use it all the time to straighten my hair. So if it works on me if should be amazing on you. Just make sure you bug a little iron. Like the tiny ones they sell at salons for fifteen dollars or you'll burn your ear and your skin because of the tube.

I used it to straighten my hair. It was a bit hard to get my roots straight sometimes, and I burned myself a lot. Overall I didn't care for it, I gave it to my mom, and bought a flat iron. My hair is really curly and frizzy btw.

Aww Christy that sucks! My mom broke mine because she didn't know how to clean it. She pulled out the brush bristles. It worked well on my curly hair though ( I'm Dominican )

I really like it. My mom bought mine about four-five years to tame my unruly mixed girl hair. It worked pretty well. I stopped using it for a really long time because I got a Babybliss straightener, and recently started using the Instyler to straighten my hair extensions (worked wonders on them!) Unfortunately, it broke about a month ago.

I think its ok for straightener but curling is kind of annoying for me, we had some come into the salon for us to try and I demanded my cloud 9 back mainly because of the god awful noise the instyler made lol.
