Hi guys, after many many months of my hair being professionally lightened I finally got it to a silver blonde this week the stylist used a wellb silver liquid toner but
most of it washed out after the first wash, anyone have any tips on putting the silver back in and maintenance? Thanks!

You should ask Velen, she has beautiful platinum blond hair :)
When I had the silver or platinum hair I used the Revlon color bomb hair treatment no 1002 and a silver shampoo... I also used a lot of deep condition treatments so my hair didn't get dry :)
You should post a pic of your new hair :)

Whilst I was blonde/silver I just toned it using toning shampoo on dry hair for half an hour whenever I felt necessary and usually for about 15-20 mins sometimes longer depending on how I wanted it. :)

I have the john frieda purple shampoo, would that help maintain the silvery grey look? I can't get any of the pro products because in Ireland you have to be a professional in order to buy from the supply stores :(

Yes I'm sure the John Frieda shampoo will be just fine :) Then I was silver blond I started out using the same as Velen posted, the loreal one, but I found a purple/silver shampoo that was only a quarter of the price, so I started using that, and it worked just as well :)

Brilliant, thanks so much, how long do I leave it in for when shampooing?

Sabrina K.
Well if it's just a regular shampooing I would say 2-5 min, but about once a week I would leave it in much longer, like 20-30 min depending on how much your hair absorb the color and how you want it to look :) The longer you leave it the more silver/purple it will get :)
