The new flex hairspray by Living Proof has worked for me! But I have to curl my hair with a straightener, for some reason I feel it works better because my hair is super straight and a curl has never held for longer than 5 min!

I heard that heat protection spray before you curl it and hairspray after keeps it curled longer... Worth a try. By the way - beautiful hair! I'm very envious... 💛

If your hair doesn't stay curled after 5mins most likely you did not let the hair cool before letting it loose. I pin it as curl. when I am done I unpin it. helps particularly for longer straight hair that tends to just have the weight of it pull it back straight.

Curling hair spray or mousse might keep them in place.

Spray with a curling spray while your hair is still quite wet/damp and put in rag rollers aka foam rollers over night the curls will be really tight but will losen with the weight of your hair and be a nice looser curl and then spray with hair spray it should hold for a while this way.

Is it all one length or does it have layers.Mine is long but it also has long layers which will help reduce the weight which pulls out the curl. Use a large barreled curling iron and do vertical curls away from the face. Spray each curl with hairspray (I use tresseme) and let them cool down. Then flip your head upside down and run your fingers through to separate the curls don't use a brush or comb flip your head back up and use the spray to hold and there you have it curls that should last all day ( by the way use volumizing mouse)

Try curling hair that hasn't been washed in a few days. I find that can help it stay better.
