What are the best powders out there? I have oily/combination skin and I was using MAC studio fix powder which is supposed to be oil controlling but it just wasn't working. I went to Sephora and wanted to try the Kat Von D powder since I use the foundation but I felt it would be too much full coverage and I looked at the Makeup Forever powder but same thing. So I couldn't decide. Any suggestions?

Try Lancôme dual finish matte powder, you may like it.

Ben Nye loose powder foundations are really nice, but arent oil controlling. have you tried makeup forever matte velvet powder, or the maybelline dream matte powder. For oily skin I've heard best things about the maybelline.

Thanks Hannah!! Natalie I haven't tried the make up forever yet I was going to today but decided to go with just the sephora brand since it was cheaper and I didn't even know if I would like the Mufe one. Jacqueline thanks! I'll check those out!

I have heard that Urban Decays De Slick is really good. I have normal skin, so I don't know for sure, but everything I have read has been great.

I use the Kat Von D one and I LOVE it. It isn't too cakey or full-coverage. Its perfect for me since I have oily/combo skin and I don't require much coverage at all. Its buildable if anything, but not too much at all =)
As Brittany suggested, the Urban Decay De-Slick powder is another product I use. It goes on translucent and helps create matte finish. I use it by itself or over bb cream, tinted moisturizer, or even foundation and it helps keeps my oily spots under control.

Brittany A. I actually haven't heard of the De Slick powder til now. I knew they had a De Slick setting spray but for some reason the powder never crossed my path lol I need to go take a look!! Natalie T. Really? I was going to get the Kat Von D powder today but I wanted a light everyday powder and since that's full coverage along with the foundation I thought it would be too much for everyday. Thanks for letting me know!!

Its a light-medium coverage, but you could build it up to a more full coverage look if you ever wanted to =)
