Okay ladies so this pertains to those who suffer or have suffered little to moderate acne...I seem to get a lot of small whitehead like bumps under my skin on my forehead now that was clear and my cheeks...I have been using tea tree oil the past days and it works great and I just purchased a dermologica acne system which I'm going to try...I want to know what you girls may have done that has helped you get to beautiful and smooth set skin again 😊 and also what makeup tips do you have to create a smooth look on the skin...my current makeup is bare minerals.

I had the same problem with the white pumps underneath the skin I just follow up on my routine everyday by cleansing my face with face wash and moisturizing it sounds pretty simple but thats how I get my clear skin :)

And I found that once I stopped for a couple of days without going through my whole little routine I started to break out :s.

I had the same bumps on my forehead they lasted for months. I use the tea tree oil face wash and what REALLY helped (I believe) was the tea tree face mask from the body shop. The entirety of the blemishes and everything underneath my skin came to the surface and cleared very quickly. I use this mask once a week. At night I wash and remove my makeup with a really expensive cleanser (I splurge on my skincare I admit) its the regular face wash by La Mer. It balances my skin, removes ALL my makeup. And then in the morning is when I use the teatree face wash. I use Clinique moisture surge gel for AM and PM as it is light and doesn't clog my pores. I am however needing to get a daily moisturizer with SPF to wear in the AM instead. I am sensitive to chemicals in most sunscreens and after 2 days of research I decided on purchasing the Say Yes to Carrots daily moisturizer with SPF 15. It had natural sun protection so I should be fine. But ya after my vigilance I have achieved clear skin.

If its manily your cheeks, change blusher md maybe your highlighter! Whatever you use most on your cheeks. Mayb your brush? Clean regularly espesh if prone to breakouts and get netural Fibre brush as I used to get bad breakouts mostly on my cheeks and I changed my brush a few wks on they vanished I was allergic to synthetic brushes.

That sounds wonderful and encouraging Veronica!! I definitely am so happy I bought the tea tree oil form the body shop then!! 😁 It's helped in just days! Don't worry I totally splurge as well trust me 😉 an yes I agree Emma maybe my blush is the issue...I wash my brushes regularly and am very cleanly so I don't think it's hygiene but I'm willing to give anything a shot :)

I NEVER wear makeup on my face, because it breaks me out. My acne is still horrible. I've been using proactiv...not that great!

Christin B. I used to use proactive in high school and it worked but of course came back.. Hopefully my new acne system towards adult acne will do the trick...luckily my acne is not that bad but I'm not going to settle for my skin...just wanting radiant and healthy skin

Now maybe my two cents won't count as much because I was one if those puerile that rarely got Anne, just that certain time of the month I'd get one or two but the issue with mine is redness in certain areas and I don't splurge on skincare, I never had to but what I have been doing for about a month now is every night, I take my makeup off and then clean my face with oatmeal..I know, it sounds weird but I think it had really contributed to how soft my face is and it has reduced the redness :) the pro is definitely that it doesn't cost much to get a big ass container if oatmeal but the con would have to be it does get pretty messy but it's not that big of a deal. Oatmeal, to me, trends to have this calming effect to it as well that helps me fall asleep quicker. Afterward, moisturize :) Oh! Another thing, drink tons of water, I'm also 20 and sometimes I wear makeup just to look older but about two months ago, I switched to just drinking water and nothing else and I can't tell you how much doing just that will contribute to taking care of your skin so drink plenty ^.^

Accurate is so strong I've heard. The side effects are harsh. Let that be your last resort.

You're welcome!! Oatmeal isn't harsh like some meds or acne washes do it definitely wouldn't hurt to try, you totally should :)
