I bought human hair clip in extensions just a week ago and I want to keep them longer than just for a few months. I like to curl hair also and yeah, heard some stuff that heat ruins hair extensions.

Heat does make them look a bit rough at the ends, try heat protectant spray and after a couple of months give them a slight trim they look much better!

I also would deep condition mine every couple of weeks.

My human hair extebsions lasted one year in good condition with heat everyday, all I noticed was that there were a few split ends but conditioner seals them :)
