I use lipstick very often. I have a red shade that is a matte and every time I use it, it dries out my lips! I tried
using a moisturized lip balm underneath like eos, but it takes away from the "matte" effect of the lipstick. Do any of you know how I can fix this?

This works for me but apply something moisturising, let it sink in,put powder foundation on your lips then put the lipstick on and it makes it last longer and should keep the matte effect.
