We cut my hair a few days ago to get rid of the dead ends I wanna dye my hair black or just do the bottom half black and keep the top red. But how do I get the black to stay in where it was blonde. The regrowth is red. Btw.

Get a color stripper that's what I did but it turned my hair blond then I had to dye it the color I wanted twice.

If your hair is all red where you want to dye it black you will have no problems with it sticking!

Black is going to cover anything it touches...especially red you might have a red tint in the sun but that's it. It's going to turn black lol nothing complicated about it

I would give your hair a break for a while. black will go over the red, you may get a slight shimmer of red in the sunlight but as it will be the under colour... no one would notice
