What is the trend for back to school makeup?

I usually never wore makeup into school cause it's honestly a hassle in the morning, but when I would, I would stick with neutral eyes, and if you NEED drama maybe some thicker liner over a verrry natural smokey eye, or wear a thicker pair of lashes. Keep the skin glowing, and lips glossy. Always carry around blotting tissue and concealer to fix up mistakes during the day.

I'd keep it very light and natural, you're not going to want to get up any earlier than you have to once the initial excitement of the first day is overwith. I'd try a neutral trio or quad like WNW Walking on Egg Shells or Covergirl Shimmering Sands, with some curled lashes, and a touch of bronzer and tinted lip balm. Blotting papers will end up being your best friend if you have oily skin, will be really active, or just need to freshen up.

When I was in high school, I was the chick that wore the bright colors to school. I personally had the time to do my makeup the way I wanted to, but if you're in a rush, I say some liquid liner, mascara and maybe a nice lip color would do just fine. I found the simple look to be more of my standard when I got to college (even though I had the time to get ready still) because it was so much easier to do. I agree with Candy and Elizabeth is you want to go more of the natural route.

I've always gone with simple. Just some mascara and a little liquid liner on the top and my favourite thing for my lips is a bright lip stain, they're great because you don't have to reapply often and they add a little pop of colour
