I use a triangle make up sponge then I find something I can put my nail polish on like a lid of some sort or piece of plastic. I take three nail polish colors make lines on the lid or whatever press the sponge down onto the polish theb press onto my nail...

Uh I'm not sure I now that is the easiest for me.. you can buy like a whole pack of them for like a dollar at dollar general.
