Ok in auditioning for a dramatic play Monday directly after school. I know I should wear something plain but with something cool. What are some ideas/things you wear to auditions.

I go to lots of auditions and all I can say is, dress your age. I always wear ankle length pants with a tank and a cardigan. After the audition I change to shorts and a tee shirt. Don't be sloppy and don't let your outfit distract your preformanc.

Wear something simple that you're confident and comfortable in, and maybe somewhat resembling the character you want if you like. Let it be easy for them to see you in that role.

Depending on your style I would say cute = a casual dress that isnt to glitzy and flats
Tomboyish = plain V neck tee and jeans or short with sneakers or tennis shoes or flip flops
( just wear what you normally would, if they didnt want you for any main roles or whatever part you wanted, then they don't know what they are missing)

It depends on what the show is!! whether you want to be a school teacher or a villian or sonething. sometimes the directors need a little but of help with perpective! but stay yourself, just be another side or emotion of yourself. ya feel me? I audition a lot lol.

Maybe a colored tank, blazer, and dark wash skinny jeans. As for shoes flats or booties. Look sophisticated and professional
