I know how to do a ladder braid...well I used to but look it up on YouTube or google that's what I did.

3rd one in the top right corner in the first pic; part your hair however you please(side, middle, etc..) take one section on one side and one on the other, do regular braids all the way down and secure with elastic. take the braid on one side and pull it up and over your head so it looks kinda like a headband, secure with bobby pins, repeat on the other side and there you have it!(: it should look like this.
