So I plan on doing a top knot messy bun tomorrow for school but I don't want my hair to be like a dance ponytail. So how can I frame my face but still have my top knot?

I flipp my hair upside down and grab all the hair but not too close to my head and not to tightly. Then I do a regular bun but more messy and you can pull some hair close to your face to shape it more.

So do that to the pieces you want to leave down.

Just flip it upside down and gather it to give it volume, then pull pieces out and bobby pin them to make the bun bigger
Then pull strands out by your face to Frame it
