Should I spray my hair with hairspray after flattening it??

No, it'll make it crunchy and make it hard to brush through.

If you're going to spray at any time, definitely after straightening it. I recommend using a mousse instead, it won't make your hair dry and crunchy

You can use an oil serum or a leave in conditioner, NEVER a hairspray.

I myself do when I really want it to stay straight. but I have a good hairspray, so I spray a section I just straightened and brush/comb it right away.. It works great!

I always spray hairspray on my hairbrush and brush it through.. it sounds weird but it gets rid of all of the flyaways :)

A light hold hair spray so you don't get crunchy hair!

I always use hairspray, and even if it gets crunchy I just use the brand Organix coconut oil serum. But I think coconut oil would work just as well, the hairspray locks in the style and the oil adds shine while making it soft and hides the crunchiness. Oh and I do this after I straighten/curl my hair :)

Redken has a spray on protector that also makes your hair look shiny and helps it to straighten easier. They also have an oil that you can put on the ends of your hair to soften them up. The oil comes in a little gold bottle. I use it all the time.
