Ever since this past dry winter I've had terrible dandruff and it won't stop no matter what I try, any tips and tricks to help get rid of it? I've tried head & shoulders, medicated scalp treatment, etc..

Deep conditioning! At least 2 times a week. Trust me it helps. My cousin had really bad dandruff and now its all gone because of that.

Any shampoo with peppermint in it should do the trick :) trust me I've had dandruff... But not anymore:)

The problem is most people don't know the difference between dandruff and dry scalp. Dandruff is caused by a bacteria that is naturally found on the skin and causes dandruff when it grows out of control. Dry scalp is, well dry scalp. If you truly think it is dandruff wash your hair more often and use a medicated dandruff shampoo. If you've tried that and it still isn't making a difference, you probably have dry scalp and treating it like dandruff will only make it worse. They make scalp treatments and what not for dry scalp.

Add tea tree oil to your shampoo. I've tried this new dandruff shampoo by tail n Maine and it works for me.

Try an apple cider vinegar rinse then a really good deep condition. acv really dries the hair out. Giovanni 50/50 shampoo and conditioner works well too.

Apply a mixture of honey and lemon juice 1:3 ratio on scalp. leave it for an hr. ull hav to do it atleast once in a week. it will go away in 3 weeks..wke sure you don't go in direct sun wen you hav mixture on scalp. it would bleach your roots.

I have the same problem and have tried literally everything!! I started using the AG brand shampoo specially formulated for dandruff and it has saved my life! I no longer have dandruff or itchy scalp! This is something I have struggled with since I was a teenager and this product is amazing! It's worth every penny if you want to get rid of it.
