This is the first that I ever heard of this goodie but I really don't follow what's going on with Clinique as I only use product from the line. I have large pores as well and what's worked best for me to mimimize their appearance is by staying on top of my skincare routine. I rotate with a glycolic serum which works as a topical exflioater...it does a great job at keeping pores clear. Our pores look enlarged when they are filled with gunk. So please don't believe that pores open and close like a door because they don't. Another alternative is using a retinol. I have that as well and you can find super affordable alternatives at the drugstore. I also use a super basic toner to remove impurities that may linger after wadhing my face (water in my city is kinda harsh) and I use African Black soap and I use a clarifying mask at least once a week. I stopped reaching for my face primer over a year ago once I saw a difference.

Ah thank you Shelley that's all very helpful, I will look into what you just said - it really bugs me as I do my make up best I can but I feel it's ruined by the look of open pores - I have a good skin are routine morning and night and I always remove my make up but do tend to use face wipes maybe that doesn't help as I use them to remove eye make up and face make up. Thank you I do appreciate your response x

Corcor I'm pretty sure I tried this one if it is, it feels and looks just like a makeup primer. one comparable is NYX pore filler primer. I totally agree w Shelley about the serum.
