Does bleaching your hair blonde damage it a lot? mine is quite damaged from a perm but is recovering. had the perm a year ago. but now I want to go blonde from my current brown hair. is it worth it?

Bleach is really damaging depending on tue developer it is mixed with. Considering you've already damaged your hair with a perm I wouldn't do it unless you are okay with cutting off the parts that have been permed after the bleach.

I had jet black hair && I currently have blonde hair (:
I bleach my hair every month && I cut my hair every month as well ^.^
The key to keeping your hair very healthy after so much damage is to wash your hair maybe twice a week && always using a deep conditioner after your done. (:
Trust me, it will help to have a deep hair conditioning ^.^
Hope I helped out a Little (:

It's not really something I can tell you over the internet. It all depends on the health of the hair, the volume developer used, how long it's on, how many times it's bleached, and how many levels you are trying to lift. My best advice is to go to a hairdresser with some experience and ask them to exam your hair since I obviously can not myself.

Don't bleach your hair. I did mine two years ago and mine is still not healthy it's a lot worse cuz I dye my hair bright red. Bad idea.

Dani - Bleach is only bad if it is overdone and not cared for properly. I have almost platinum blonde bangs and they don't feel bad at all.
