Loreal true match has good coverage. It's like $8. In my opinion, a cream foundation or concealer can cover a blemish way easier&better than a powder can.

I agree with vanessa w about the cream vs powder for blemish coverage and I would recommend fit me concealer by maybelline c:

It depends if you have really visbly problems(acne, etc) use a concealer instead, like maybelline fit me
If you don't have lots of problems then get the loreal true match or the rimmel stay matte

Unfortunately I'm not one to ask about drugstore foundation.
I do believe that foundation is one of those producs that you cannot skimp on. If you can afford to buy a good decent foundation I'd recommend it.

Thanks! Like there are some products you can just get drugstore brands such as mascara and powder blush. But since foundation really makes or breaks your look, you should get the best for you as long as the price isnt like unreasonable. Think about it, why do you think you never see dupes for foundation?

Physicians formula has a really good powder foundation that's supposed to be full coverage. Also if you're willing to splurge, bare minerals makes good ones.

The high end foundations are not always the best. I find in many magazines it's usually high street (drug store) brands which come up top. Many high end foundations are over priced in my eyes and you pay for the brand name, not always the product.
We have the same skin type so try these products:
Bonjouris healthy mix foundation
Avon extra lasting foundation
No.7 beautifully matte
Collection 2000 lasting powder
No.7 translucent powder.
Hopefully you can get hold of some of these, they are all in your budget :)

I suggest CoverGirl Outlast-Stay-Fabulous liquid foundation. Powder foundations don't cover blemishes that well.

The only thing would help you is mac studio fix powder.

Mac studio fix powder has great coverage. It's buildable. It won't cake unless your face is dry,so moisturize & prime :)
