I currently use neutrogena shine control liquid foundation. It's suppose to be 8hour shine control but after an hour I already feel oily and look shiny. What can I do to stop or at least control my oily skin? New make up? New skin product?

What I do to keep oily skin at bay:
clarisonic morning and night (olay's prox brush is a cheap and good alternative).
witch hazel mixed with tea tree oil as a toner
moisturize

after I apply foundation I use a translucent powder to set it. it also helps prolong your makeup. apply it to your t zone and that helps keep it matte. if you have oily skin these steps can help reduce oil production but you may have to blot throughout the day still just not as frequently.

Remember to exfoliate every morning and use a gentle cleanser in the evening. Blotting tissues are a good quick fix as they remove excess oil. I've forever been battling with oily skin and have yet to find a good foundation.

I suffer from very oily skin. Use a mattifying primer on bare, clean skin before you apply your makeup. Buy some oil blotting sheets for when you notice oil peeking through.

I agree about the neutrogena foundation. I'm not loving how its working for me either and I exfoliate every day :/ and use neutrogenas mattifying primer and I still feel it creeping through an hour after applying. Let me know if you find something worth while, Richelle!

Try using a mineral powder foundation, I use collection 2000 perfecting mineral foundation and ir is amazing for us with oily skin, with liquid foundations I go shiney within the hour this lasts a lot longer though you still may require some blotting of excess oil after a few hours of wear.
