What does it mean when your foundation 'oxidizes'?

When it oxidizes it turns orange!

The foundation gets darker then when you put it on, also I don't think there is a way to stop this.

Oxidise means to mix with the oxygen in the air. So the foundation will react with the oxygen making it either dry out, go clumpy or orange as previously said. Hope this helps(:
