My hair never holds curls when I use a curling iron, is there any way to do curls that hold for difficult hair?

You should try a curling wand.

I use a curling wand, I don't even know why they work better, but when I curl my hair with it, it lasts like 10 hours. No hairspray. But keep in mind I have thin hair. But my hair never curled with a curling iron.

Headband braids! Youtube has tons of tutorials. It's easy and heatless! Overnight styles are basically guaranteed to hold up no matter what kind of hair you have, if you want to get a mousse to set the curls.

I have naturally straight hair and it was really hard to curl. But now I curl my hair then bobby pin the curl then lightly spray it and repeat it over and over I leave it over night and and brush some of the tight curls out and I'm ready!

This may take a while but it defs does work! In towel dry hair put some styling foam in it! Something that has hold. Put throughout the whole hair and blowdry it in with a brush.. Making sure to move the hair around constantly to add volume. After you're done the hair will feel a bit 'grippy' or like it has product in it! Curl the hair with a tong and hair spray! Will hold. X.

I suggest a curling wand. It can hold for three days! And holds curls for anyone. Its amazing!
