Hey girls, I just dyed my hair red a week ago or so. and I already see the color fading. and whenever I wash it, the water is reddish too.
I want to maintain my red hair as much as I could.. what advices do you have for me?

The shampoo and conditioner riveting reds at sally's is amazing. It actually has red pigments in it so it'll definitly help maintain it. Also wash your hair with luke warm/cold water every 3-4 days and use dry shampoo in between if needed.

Don't use the riveting reds shampoo it contains henna in it. I wash my hair twice a week with a color protecting shampoo then I use the roux refresh mask in fire red which you can get at sallys and that mask is key to keeping my red hair vibrant!

Only wash your hair 2 times a week. also many places carry colour refreshers. my fav is by crestol, they got lots of bright reds and also they also condition the hair. red shampoos tend to have brown and yellow pigments also which tends to leave the hair a rusty colour over time. I actually use a blue or silver shampoo to keep the cold shades. but it depends on what you like and what shade red you want :-)

I have to wash my hair everyday! But the first week or two I only wash it in cold water. Heat will pull the color out.
