I got 2 crackle bottles quite a while ago. I kept the bottles tight and rarely used the black one (it's popular but I always had a design on my nails instead). For some reason both dried up so badly that they're like hard clumps that broke off. They look like rocks or something! :( would a large amount of nail polish thinner save them or are they gone-ers?

I'm not sure, i've never seen a nailpolish thinner before, but what I do is put in a couple drops of nail polish remover and that loosens it up. If they're really dry, I would put in more than just a few drops. Hope this helps!

Yes it does! Read this post, and tank me for it too, because it took me way longer than I thought it would to find it again. :)

@Kaitlin K. Thanks for your answer! I dont know though, because I heard nail polish remover actually worsens the quality of your nail polish after a while because of all the ingredients that essentially break it down. :3

Anjum: Ahh thank you so much! I'm not sure if I should get it though- I mean, is it worth the money to buy seche restore and use it on the polishes? I'd like finish one seche restore bottle on one bottle of nail polish it seems. :(

Well, I f you really like the color, I think definitely. If you don't, or it's really easy to replace, then don't bother. Pretty simple.

Yes. I had the same thing happen to my china glaze crackles. I added a TON of thinner and they were good as new. I thinned it out over the span of two days to give the polish time to fully incorporate the thinner. But the end result was great

And you can use any thinner...it doesn't have to be pricey like seche restore. Orly has a good one for like $5 at sally's

I have a black crackle nail polish and it was great at first, but its really dry now, so dry I'm considering throwing it out and I've hardly used it. Some people say use nail varnish remover to thin it out and others advise against it. Would nail varnish remover mess up the crackle effect though? I'm not sure it would work the same after.
