Is scented candle wax safe to put on your face? Specifically from bath and body works?

Maybe a soy candle. My grandma makes them and after we let them burn you can pour some of the hot wax into your hand and its very moistening. I wouldn't try bath and body works because of chemicals that could be in them.

I also wouldn't put it on your face if its sensitive.
