I wouldn't I've got really dark hair as well I tried to go blonde a few months back it killed my hair and it didn't look right had loads of my hair cut off and had to go back to dark my hair now is still dead feels like straw breaks off loads really regret it

Your hair is like black. Going blonde without going almost bald is not really an option for you right now. If you really want to go blonde, try going maybe a shade or two lighter every 4-6 months until you get there and get it done professionally. Otherwise you won't have hair and if you do it will be super short. Trust me, I've seen it happen. I had a friend who thought she could go from black to platinum blonde in a little over a month. That was almost two years ago and her hair still isn't the length it was before she started.
