@ sheila, how long after you stopped using heat did your curls come back? I used heat on my hair for years and I stopped for about three months now except for I think four occasions and I really want my curls back. the back of my hair is really curly while the front is straight. its so irritating!!

What I do is I brush my hair from the roots down everyday for about 10 minutes it helps you get healthy long hair. You could also try using shea butter for hair growth :)

Wash your hair once a week. Ik it sounds gross. But dirty hair grows faster. My hair was at my ears and now it's at my waist. But try not to wash it as much. No matter how oily and yucky it gets just throw it up in a bun.

Fish oil pills.

Don't cut your hair too often, only cut when it's to cut off your split ends. Not just for the hell of it.

Castor oil! Make a castor oil/coconut oil hair mask and use it twice a week. Also mane n tail shampoo is awesome for hair growth!

I agree with Sheila!! Stop using heat.. I stopped for a few months now and I air dry my hair and also.. my natural waves are back!
