Ok, every once in a while I get horrible product build up I'm the crown of my head. and if any of you ladies have had this, its a pain! I just tried white vinegar in my hair (found on google) but won't know until morning if it worked or not! so my question is, if the vinegar does not work, what else can I try?

You must not if you have that much stuff in your hair maybe you don't shampoo it enough.

Maybe you don't wash it well enough or else why would you still have product in your hair let alone a build up of it and then put vinegar in your hair.

and you have been zero help. I asked for advice, not someone implying I don't shampoo my hair enough.

I stopped washing my hair every day, over six months ago, and cannot believe the difference I have found! my hair is less oily, has less build up and has grown thicker and longer than ever. a good dry shampoo can be a girl's best friend ;)

Try baking soda with that vinegar I'm not going to look at that link I use shampoo so no need for vinegar as shampoo rids product.

Francis M., zero help and zero concrete knowledge on this matter. Kirsten darling try anti residue shampoo by neutrogena. It's cheap and it helps right away. Did for me anyway :) hope I was helpful!

The cheapest and most simple way is mixing baking soda and shampoo at least twice a week condition well after. It works really well. Try it out let me know how it goes

I use Dr. bronners castille soap to remove any buildup.

Try a clarifying shampoo. Do it about 2-3 times a month. Or get a packet of a clarifying crystals that you mix In water. It's a one time application but it works pretty well. You can get them at a beauty supply store and they are pretty cheap.

I like to use beer as a hair rinse or apple cider vinegar to remove buildup 😊

Baking soda is also a cult favorite but I have never tried it myself.

If the vinegar doesn't work (which it should) then wait a day and add a bit of baking soda to your shampoo and apply like you normally would your shampoo. PLEASE don't add baking soda to the vinegar unless you want an explosion that will damage your scalp, burn your hair, and hurt your skin (middle school science anyone?) I saw that in the comments above and had to make sure you didnt hurt yourself :) good luck!

I agree with Anupa do one separately I love beer sometimes which also gives body and shine. I mostly use 4 tbs apple cider vinegar mixed with a cup of water and apply...leaving it for like 10 minutes or so. Then I rinse it off with cold water to promote shine 💕 hope I helped.

Well not apply but pour the mixture over your head...you can add a course drops of an essential oil to make it smell better but the smell goes away once your hair dries.

Couple drops*
