Do you buy The Sephora Brand?

Hello Beautiylistas! I wanted to share a thought and just some info for those who are new to the makeup world, I'm sure many have walked in sephora to grab your favorite brands of cosmetic's but how many times have you passed the sephora collection section? I'm pretty sure many,well I think you should give it a look and try some of the products out you could surprise yourself because they do have so many great products in this line.My fave face primer happen's to be in the sephora line and liners which I personally think are as good as UD liners and etc.Now let's say I were to tell you who owns Sephora and let's say if the name was labelled on the sephora line would that change your mind to actually try the line or make you think twice to buy it again? Here is one of the owners LUIS VUITTON... ok now does that have you thinking? Maybe and I bet for those who don't know may now want to give a look and it's no surprise that Marc jacobs had recently added his work into sephora after all he is artistic director for LV line...Did a light bulb just go off? hope so beauties my point is High end or not look into all the products you walk by because you may not know what your missing and who is the talent behind all cosmetics and in the end you may be really contradicting yourself when in fact those dollar products or high end products may be related :) Do your research and coneect the dots,you'll really help your future buys in this makeup world...stay beautiful!

Thanks for the info Alma! I haven't been to Sephora yet, but I want to. I sometimes shop at Ulta though. And I have bought the Ulta brand of products. Do you like happen to like the Ulta brand as well?

This was really interesting thank you Alma. Ana they have quite a few primers one of them is silicone free. I actually like their mattifying one it has silicone but feels a lot lighter then some others that have it

Your welcome ladies,I like to do a little research on cosmetics and who is the sister products and owner connections,it helps. They all hold ties to each other all the way down to the drug store brand.The sephora primer is awesome and like Danny said they do have a silicone free one as well.I lovethe sales I bought 6 tubes of the primer when it went on sale for $5 I couldn't beat that! That is awesome Tara $1 polishes is a steal :-) Regina Ulta is great.

Thanks alma... Idk if everyone knows yet but I'm the queen if bargain shopping especially for make up... I bough one of those pallets with the interchangeable plates a few years ago when the go on sale after Christmas... And believe me their stuff is awesome most color shadows are VERY PIGMENTED...and for 9.99 reg 39.99 I couldn't pass up.. I have lippie a and a few eye pencils and Alma girl you are sooo right I love those things just saying I need to buy more of them... So thanks for the info!! Ladies you have to be more open and not so label struck... You may be missing out on a gold mine!!😉..,

I always only buy sephora eyeshadows and sun powder as they have matt one. Used to have a lipgoss that I loved but havent found the colour anymore. Also some matt blushes are very nice. Lip pencils are too soft and tend to come off easily. In general it is a brand with some good stuff and some less good, like any other brand. Ah ye, I use their long lasting foundation for legs as they have dark and yellow undertones. Very nice!

I hope the OPI for Sephora line isn't being discontinued. It's been on sale for months now and I've stocked up on quite a few of the polishes, because at $4.50 a pop, they're so much cheaper than anything of comparable quality.
