I'm moving to uni where I will have walk 30 minutes each way in an area with lots of hills, in UK it's always wet and cold so they need to be waterproof, what style would you recommend? I usually wear skirts and dresses.

If I was you I would head to Dorothy Perkins or a department store, expect to spend £40 plus but they will last you and be comfy :) New Look and other similar fashion shops don't tend to be as good quality in my opinion. Ooh and I think Barratts might have a sale on. Which Uni are you going to? Good luck!! Sorry I can't help with style, but I personally prefer knee length instead of ankle boots for warmth xx

If you really want boots that would last a while then you should go to bhs or clarks, last year I made the mistake of buying from newlook and the boots were nice but not waterproof so my feet got wet a lot.
