Has anybody used a biotin supplement for their hair and what were your benefits?

They're just vitamins, so it's going to work. You do need to make sure to drink PLENTY of water though and know that not just the hair on your head is going to grow.

I broke out like crazy

You only break out if you don't drink enough water, it's water soluble and when your body isn't getting enough it can't use the vitamins efficiently therefore causing break outs. Your hair and nails will grow but keep in mind like Erin said all your other hair will grow rapidly as well. I recommend evening primrose oil, it's a capsule full of oil that's good for your skin, metabolism helps prevent aging and some disease and gives you glowy skin without having to drink as much water

I take them and I haven't had any bad side effects or hair growth in places I wouldn't want them so I would say its worth a try.

I didnt think they did much for me, but it all depends on your own body. I prefer vitamin E.

I take them but I don't think they do much for me. Maybe a little hair growth but not much.

I use biotin for my hair and nails. It really does work. I take Bio-Sil. I get it at GNC for about $35. Great stuff.

You can take all the vitamins you want but if you don't have a healthy diet and lifestyle you might as well skip it.
