How do you make a French braid?

I have watched so many videos on how to make a French braid, but I can't. Does anyone have any tips or simple videos that can help me? Pictures will help too.

Start with a section in front or wherever you want to start. split into 3 parts like a regular braid.. then...

Add piece in my right hand to the piece right next to it. then take that combined section and fold it over like a regular braid and continue on otherside.

All you have to do is think of it as a simple braid then as you braid pick up more and more pieces of hair as you go and...✨TA DA!!✨ You have a French braid good luck ❤

Go on YouTube, they have a ton! And most importantly, practice! Even though I "know" how to do it, I still have trouble getting it right enough and keeping track of which strand of hair is supposed to go where. So really after you know the principle (like I said, go on YouTube) you just have to keep practicing. It will be frustrating, but don't give up!
