I am a HUGE caffeine addict so I make sure I drink my coffee+tea through straws, to preserve the whitening.
I use the crest 3D white line though! it's awesome and has a refreshing taste. and the strip treatments don't taste bad, and also stay on very well so you can talk fine for the 30 minutes they're on.

@emily p. I used the Rembrandt whitening kit and just about got sick through the first 20 mins. I think I put too much bleach in as it oozed everywhere. But I read online another girl just painted it on then put the tray over your teeth. So I'm going to try that this afternoon.

Yes it does taste horrible! I used to whiten my teeth but it strips down the enamel too much so I stopped because it made my teeth sensitive and transparent. I do use arm and hammer whitening toothpaste, which works well but tastes bad too. so I switched to 3d crest whitening toothpaste. works great and has a nice smell :)

@mary p. did you use the Rembrandt? I don't notice a difference. I went the next day and used a small paintbrush and painted it on my teeth and then put the tray on. Did the whole two hours and maybe a tiny difference. So... I'm
A little bummed. :( I'm going to try brushing with baking soda. My mom made us do that weekly when we were little and I remember I had nice white teeth.
