So I own MAC studio fix fluid and I like the coverage well. I prime my face with Hard Candy primer (which sucks) but how do I make my skin look more glowy? I"m starting to think that it's the highlighting and contour that really give you that magazine cover look. And what good products do you use also including the face primers? Please give me your tips! xoxo.

Contouring and highlighting is a must with full coverage foundation. You're making your skin one color and you need to bring your dimensions back into play.
To make your skin glowy.. Bareminerals and I'm sure other brands too have powders that give you that sunkissed look.
I make most of my beauty products like primers because I'm my going to pay $35 for a fancy little bottle when it cost me $3 to make the same thing without any chemicals and in a big amount so I wouldn't know.
Look up tutorials on highlighting and contouring by WayneGoss. He explains it amazingly.

Olay's new CC cream is really good if you want 'glowing skin' but it won't give you full coverage like foundation :)

Use foundations with a yellow undertone in the center of your face for a highlight and use cool undertone products to shade the outer parts of your face.

Highlighting and contouring makes the biggest difference. I actually haven't been using a primer lately, I don't notice a big difference when I do or don't.
First off, invest in a Beauty Blender. They are those weird shaped sponges. You wet them, squeeze all the excess water out, and then use that to apply your foundation. It gives you that really dewy airbrushed finish. You don't even need to buy the real Beauty Blender, I have a knockoff one I bought for like $5 at Marshall's. After that you want to highlight and contour, I really like "Benefit's Watts Up" as a highlighter allthough its a bit pricy. Lastly, buy MAC's Fix+ and spray it all over your face. It gets rid of any powdery or cakey look you may have left over.
Also, my mom swears up and down about MAC's Strobe Cream. It's this little lotion with hints of glimmer that makes your skin glow. It's a really good product.

Sonia kashuk at target has an illuminating primer that I love. It's just enough that it looks natural in the day light which a lot of highlighters can appear kinda silly looking. I mix it in to my face moisturizer. I also like benefits moonbeam

Sometimes I mix a few drops of benefit sun beam highlighter in with my foundation, your whole face will look dewy and glowy (:
