Don't do it! lol Always go to a hairdresser if your planning on bleaching your hair. Since a lot of things could go wrong.

Definitely get to hairdressers for it as it will most likely end up bleaching in patches, so some bits might be lighter than others!

I go to a whole seller hair dressing place and buy my own and a great toner. but I would probably go to the hairdresser if I was you. I did for years until my friend a hairdresser told me where to buy and would brands to use and what not.

Bleach is so damaging to hair. I've had plenty of DIY hair horror stories due to bleach or color gone wrong. Go to a pro, they can pack your hair with lots of proteins to offset the bleaching damage (:

Do not bleach your hair. If anything research wella toners. If I want my hair lighter I use the T14 or T18. This will prevent your hair from turning orange and brassy bc they have purple and blue undertones. Be careful ad do your reaearch it is hard to come back from wrecking your hair

I've bleached my own hair with little to no damage. I used PrismLites Blue and the recommended developer. It worked great and my hair wasn't orange!

From my old experience and as a hairdresser, I suggest you don't bleach the whole thing by yourself; unless you're wanting just ombre or a few shades lighter then that is possible but from dark hair to platinum blonde do not do!

I was a very dark brunette and I went blonde. I used the loreal lightening kit and then I dyed my hair with an ash color blonde

Some people do fine at doing their own hair. Other people not so much. Bleach is a touchy subject and I've seen a lot of bad things happen when hair gets overprocessed. I would recommend going and seeing a professional especially if lifting many levels and always listen to what they tell you. While I was in cosmetology school I had a friend who insisted on trying to go from black to platinum blonde in a month even though I told her not to. Needless to aay her hair still hasn't fully grown out from the little boy haircut I had to give her to fix it more than a year and a half ago.
